Beschuits en Muisjes

Welcome Desmond and Abigail, who arrived in that order, on April 1, 2008. 7 pound 3 oz. Desmond was born in the water and arrived at 12:56 am, and little Abigail, weighing in at a feisty 4 pounds 10 ounces arrived 41 minutes later at 1:37 am on her mama's bed. Yvonne, the amazing mama, is, was , and continues to be completely in charge. I am humbled before the power of women. Thanks for the beschuits en muisjes!!

If you are having a baby, rush HOME!!

Welcome to Elia Anastasia Carter who was born at home on March 20, 2008 at 5:05am. Her mama was in the hospital having an NST when her labor started to pick up. The midwife called me and asked what she should do, an exam? I said no, SEND HER HOME! And out they went passing laboring women headed in, while they headed out. A lovely labor and a lovely birth! Congratulations Francine and Bryce!
