The AMA (American Medical Association) passed a resolution that they are going to create model legislation that states that the hospital is the safest place to have a baby. It doesn't specifically "outlaw" homebirth, but whenever their is leg like this, it opens the door to criminalizing the other than (think child endangerment to have your baby at home). So that is what all the media is about. Watch for Ricki on Good Morning America on Saturday and post a comment to the Huffington Post.
