Welcome Max! Listening in from near and far, the saga of Max's birth captivated the midwifery world! We love him and think he's the cutest of all. Sarah's labor was a lesson to us all --commitment, courage, endurance, and finally, letting go. Sarah, you have reached the other side. You are a mother.

My first baby of the year

Welcome Jolie Alette, my first baby of 2009. The birth was smooth and quick, a good omen for a new year. Congratulations to Melanie and Adam, you have a beautiful baby girl.

Umali joins La Familia

I have another triptych: Umali Ollin Grande Meza joins her sisters Xiomara and Naila, and brother Sofian. I had the great pleasure to deliver the last three Grande Meza children. They are a pleasure, especially when they all come over for fish tacos. Bienvenidos Umali, born in the water, in the bathtub, on the 23rd of January at 10:19pm. Felicidades Cynthia and Oscar!
