Well.... Sue and Abigail and I had a busy day yesterday. I went to see a New York Senator's office and then the three of us went to Diane Feinstein's office. It was a decidedly cool (meaning not warm) meeting but we learned a lot about our possible opponents. We are hoping that today goes a lot better at Boxer and Pelosi's offices. Many of the other midwives had very positive meetings, especially Ida Daragh from Arkansas who actually was invited to meet her Congresssman. He seems very supportive.
